fall brule 2009 008 large.jpgLen Anderson sent this fishing report
I was up north for a funeral, and had sometime after that event to fish the Brule River in Wisconsin.  It was so great to be back on my home waters doing what I now how to do best, fish for fall steelhead on the Brule River.  The weather was cold but the fish were hot, even the small fish fought great.  I had 2 days to fish and made the best of it.  I managed to land 2 fish the first day out and was so excited to fight these magnificent steelhead again, the second day my brother Dave came with and he got into fish rite away and we ended up with 3  for the day.  I have to tell you just getting one on is a great day down there and to be able to land them is so awesome given the short amount of time we had to fish.  It was good to be up there but I can't wait to cast for the bulls this weekend with Bill.  Len
