The club had a first time club outing in the Port St Joe area this month, where 15 members made the long trip to fish an area pristine with grass flats and a large open pass to the gulf. From the # of fish caught you'd never know the guys had that many lines in the water.
The water in St. Joe Bay was beautiful and the grassbeds were everywhere and looked lush and healthy. Here's a few of the pictures that was taken , one of our Crab friends and it's hard to believe there wasn't a pack of Redfish waiting on them; a couple of pictures of the real fishermen, Mike and Dennis; a gathering of storytellers at the bow of the boat at the "Dixie Bell Motel" where many of us stayed; and a picture Jimmy Waters sent of the "Feeding Frenzy" at our lunch meeting on the Bay (Looks like Lenny is preaching!!). More details and additions after our July meeting.
