marsh_2010__Large_.jpgJanuary started out fantastic with my best day ever on Westbay, 5 slot reds landed fishing from my Hobie.  As the days went by fishing slowed down and after several rain days the water got very dirty for awhile.  This presented me with a opportunity to try to blind cast to reds in known fish holding areas,  I had 2 hits but none landed , the next time out the water was cleared up but the fish were very spooky and another goose egg for me.  It reminded me that the days that are very good you really need to enjoy them because the hard days are going to be there.  It dosen't matter how good the catching is this is a great place to have in my back yard to ply my trade  flyfishing.
